ProjectCleaner – Add-in for MS Project to securely share sensitive data in .mpp files

ProjectCleaner is a new add-in for Microsoft® Project that gives project managers the ability to remove or anonymize sensitive information inside .mpp project files, prior to sharing them with different project stakeholders.
Users are able to remove or anonymize the following project categories and data values:
- The cost rates for a work resource
- Standard rate
- Overtime rate
- Per use cost
- The name of a work resource
- The work progress
When “cleaning” the . mpp file, ProjectCleaner creates a copy of the original project file and all modification that are performed to the imported file are saved in a new filtered copy in the .mpp file format.
